Good dad, bad dad? Not to a daughter!

Watched the movie Gameplan today. Predictable but feel-good one-time watch.. The Rock rocks, literally.
I think a man can be a bad friend, a pathetic lover, horrible husband, evil boss, impossible subordinate, drab company, but cannot help but be the perfect dad to his daughter!!! :) Do I just happen to be one of the girls who feels this way?

Exams!

How does the thought of an upcoming exam manage to turn the most interesting stuff into such a boring ordeal! Urgghhhh!!! That reminds me of the time when we were kids. We had a cousin who went to an alternative education school called The Valley school. Why it fascinated me enough to stay in mind through all these years??? They had no exams! Needless to say, my cousin was the envy of every child in our family.
Which makes me wonder if I'd have learnt or remembered anything, if not for exams. Does alternative education work with every child, or is it subjective? Whats your take???

Finally!!!

Its begun, but will it stay? Your guess is as good as mine! Finally managed to push myself out of the paper-pencil-wastebasket prototype of writing. Feels good so far... If i do manage to keep this up, I'd have some friends to thank :)
